The company introduced tubes made from 100% bio-based virgin plastics in 2010. Together with their customers they have realized 100% bio-based tubes and 100% recycled tubes Since then the demand of the bio-based plastics dramatically increased and now the current supply cannot keep up. At this moment there seems to be only one suitable solution for virgin bio-based polyethylene (PE); sugarcane from Brazil.

Renewable sources are vital for this company, not to be confused with bio-degradable plastics. With the demand increasing faster than the increase of supply, the company is in need of different bio-sources for virgin plastics.
